I wasn’t able to install Wind0ze on my new PC, as it wasn’t able to meet the minimum requirement of 512mb RAM. I only had a measly 256mb. Finally I was able to purchase a 1gb stick(Kingston DDR 400mhz) today together with a possibly 2-year old graphics card. It was a Inno3D Geforce FX 5500 256mb. It costs only $85. In the IT industry, 2 years is almost obsolete. But 256mb suffices well for my gaming needs, I don’t need to purchase a spanking new one that would cost $600-700.
Well, I haven’t had time to play around much with this Wind0ze. Oh, it’s called Wind0ze Vista; previously codenamed Longhorn. The system is very responsive(well it’d better be with 1280mb of RAM). How would one describe this OS? I’d say, Chio. Obviously there’s the comparison with the Mac OSes. But I’ve always been a Wind0ze user, and I think I’ll continue to be. I’ve used Micr0$s0ft’s OSes since DOS, and Wind0ze 3.1(Did Wind0ze 1.0 and 2.0 ever exist in the market?). I’m a gamer and I’m not well-to-do. Most applications and games are more readily available for the PC and more affordably priced too. But I still haven’t touched much on Vista, eh? Well this is one of the good stuff that speaks for itself. I’ll leave you with a couple of pictures.
